U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
We recently built a trailer for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to test fish DNA in the Midwest. The actual testing takes place in the rear lab area. Both counters are stainless steel, and ultraviolet lights have been installed as part of the DNA testing equipment.
The front of the trailer is the support area. Not only does it have several cabinets for storage of materials, it also contains a refrigerator to store tissue samples. An electrical generator in the front makes sure that the scientists will have plenty of power!

NASCAR® Race to Green™
As part of the NASCAR Race to Green™ campaign celebrated in the month of April, Featherlite donated 1,200 trees after all four Sprint Cup winners during this time period were also Featherlite trailer owners. Featherlite, the official trailer of NASCAR®, had pledged to donate 300 trees on behalf of any Sprint Cup winner that was also an owner of a Featherlite race transporter.
NASCAR this week announced that more than 180,000 trees are being planted in areas across the country, including those affected by natural disaster, a 20 percent increase from last year. NASCAR Race to Green is an annual month-long initiative that galvanizes teams, tracks, drivers, Official NASCAR Partners and fans to take action steps toward preserving and protecting the environment.
Other NASCAR partners who took part in the program included 3M, 5.11 Tactical, ACORE, American Ethanol, Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Coors Light, Ford Motor Company, Freightliner Trucks, Goodyear, Liberty Tire Recycling, Mobil 1, Sprint, Sherwin-Williams, Sunoco, Toyota and UPS.
